What went live

Player-to-player trading is the headline. You can move SCP monsters — and, where the UI allows, related loot such as Lucky Blocks — without dropping them on the floor. Floor drops on a steal map are not a marketplace; they are bait. Use the trade feature the update added.

Server restriction is part of the patch, not a bug. “New and VIP servers” means you should join a freshly started server or a VIP/VIP+ server. VIP is 109 Robux (VIP doors plus a tag). VIP+ is 210 Robux and was added around 1 September 2026. Either VIP product is the reliable way to sit in a lobby that has the update if public “new” servers are mixed. Shop list: gamepasses.

Trading does not mint Godly. Godly SCP and Godly Lucky Block remain Pro Pack items at 499 Robux (with 1,000,000 cash and Dual Red Coil) unless another player already owns them and agrees to a deal. Secret remains the top of the Common-to-Secret steal climb on the Lucky Block tier list. The update moves chips; it does not replace how to steal.

Income tools are unchanged. Placed SCPs still tick online and offline. Auto Collect (55 Robux) and Double Money (79 Robux) still apply to parked monsters, not to the trade window. The SCP roster hub is still the place to think about empty pads. Do not trade away your only ticking Secret so you can “flex” a deal and then log off to zero offline cash.

How to find a Trade Update server

1. Leave stale servers. If you have been sitting in the same five-player lobby since before the update, hop. The official copy says new servers.

2. Prefer VIP when public hops fail. Join via VIP/VIP+ access so you are not rolling the dice on an old public instance. The tag and doors are the VIP (109) perks; the higher SKU is VIP+ (210).

3. Confirm the trade UI before you advertise. If there is no trade flow, you are in the wrong place. Do not start a side deal in chat. Rehop.

4. Bring the actual item. A screenshot of a Godly you opened yesterday on another account is not a chip. The Secret and Godly page is the roster explainer; the trade window is the proof.

5. Keep jump upgrades in mind. Trading is not a substitute for height. If you swap your only coil-adjacent advantage for a monster you cannot protect on the way home, you lost the update. How to upgrade jump still matters after every deal.

Starter accounts should not live in the trade lobby. Get a first hatch from early Lucky Blocks or the Starter Pack free SCP (149 Robux: free SCP, jump upgrade, +1 carry slot, Bouncy Coil, 25k cash) as described on starter SCP monsters. Trade when you have a duplicate or a ceiling chip, not when you have one Common and hope.

Fair trading on five-player servers

Five players can see the chat. That is small enough for collusion and large enough for a sniper. Fair trading means:

Use the official trade UI. Never drop Godly or Secret on the ground “as a show of trust.” This is a steal game.

Value is heuristic, not a stock ticker. The SCP monster tier list ranks Godly/Secret as S for income-and-trade potential in Sep 2026. It is not an official price list. Compare live cash ticks. A Secret that prints more than your Godly on the pads you have can be the right side of a deal.

Watchlist names are not a tax. Verity Ultimate and Doctor Nowhere are community-reported. They can be high interest. They are not an official multiplier you must pay. If someone demands “10 Godly because YouTube said so,” decline.

Foundation names are not SKUs. The experience is based on the SCP Foundation Wiki (CC BY-SA 3.0). Do not pay extra because a trader relabeled a unit as SCP-682. Inspirations are not confirmed in-game drops.

No scripts. Anyone who says you must run an executor to “unlock trade” or “dupe Secret” is offering a ban. This wiki will not publish scripts. Walk away.

No codes in the deal. There are no confirmed codes as of Sep 2026. A trader adding a “secret code” is adding fiction. Codes stays empty until a real string exists.

After a fair trade, place the monster. Unplaced chips do not tick offline. Then go steal again; the tier list hub still wants you on the highest platform you can land from. The Trade Update is a server-gated marketplace on top of a jump-to-steal tycoon. Find a new or VIP lobby, use the real UI, keep at least one income SCP parked, and treat every overpay story that needs a script as a warning. Height still prints the next Secret. The window only moves the last one.
